Bloomberg expects the third-generation AirPods to be released at some point in 2021, with new AirPods Pro to come in 2022. Mass production on the AirPods 3 is rumored to be kicking off in August, which would mean that we will likely see the new AirPods in September alongside new iPhones.
Despite some reliable sources hinting at Apple's AirPods 3 coming in the first half of 2021, the company did not launch the third generation AirPods in the first half. Now, it is being reported that the Apple AirPods 3 will be launched in September this year.
