Realme MagDart charger | Conform launch date | Futuristic technology

Realme in a major decision has announced that it will launch its next-generation Android smartphone magnetic wireless charger on August 3. The new charging technology which has been named "Realme MagDart" is expected to come up with the magnetic snap-on capabilities.

The company’s new charging device is also expected to be similar to the MagSafe Battery Pack that was introduced by American phone maker Apple that also has been appended with magnetic snap-on capabilities. While the company has also teased customers by announcing that the Realme Flash smartphone would also be launched alongside the new charging device, it remains uncertain if the company is really going ahead with the simultaneous launch of the phone and the device.

In a tweet, Realme has asked customers to brace themselves for the next-gen Android wireless charging. The company also said that i

t was bringing a magnificent magnetic innovation, featuring Realme Flash and much more. While the reference to the new charging device was explicit, the company did not make it clear if the Realme Flash would also be launched alongside the charging device. However, so far as the tweet and its content is concerned, the possibility of a simultaneous launch remains alive.

Intel NUC 11 Extreme kit | Amazing view and fastest technology

The key to the kit is Intel's Next Unit of Computing Compute Element, a self-contained motherboard module comprised of a CPU with supporting chipset, memory and NVMe slots, networking chipsets and antennas, plus a fullset of connectors like you'd find on any typical motherboard. The kit itself includes the CE plus a case with a backplane that includes a slot for a GPU, power supply, front connectors, fans and RGB lighting.

You don't have to use the NUC with Intel's kit; third parties make systems built around the NUC -- such as Razer's Tomahawk Gaming Desktop -- and you can buy the module by itself as an easy way to upgrade your CPU and connections.

Intel expects to begin shipping sometime between Sept. and Oct., expanding into regions outside the US, China and Europe through the end of the year. There's no final pricing yet, but Intel expects the kit to run $1,150-$1,350 and $780-$980 for the Compute Element alone. You can preorder some basic configurations now from SimplyNUC.

Nothing ear (1) wireless earbuds | @5999/- | with awesome transparent body

There are often times when palpable excitement precedes a product launch. You may be excited about a different tech product than I may be, but it happens only ever so often. This is one of those times. The odds of you being excited about the Nothing ear (1) wireless earbuds, are strong. Transparent buds and case as well as noise cancellation (ANC). Earbuds as a category has been catching everyone’s attention over the past 12 months, also accelerated perhaps by changing work scenarios than just the need to get rid of wires. Fast forward, and no other wireless earbuds perhaps except the Apple AirPods, have had such a weight of expectation on their shoulders. After all, these are Nothing’s first tech product. Spoiler alert, this really impresses in some respects, while there are occasional typical gen 1 product niggles that should eventually get ironed out.

First Impression Is The Lasting Impression? Nothing made all the right noises pre-launch and that was also helped by the fact that the price tag wasn’t left at the altar of speculation. The Nothing ear (1) wireless earbuds are priced at Rs 5,999 and if you didn’t notice, Nothing didn’t take the lazy route and simply do a direct conversion of the global price tags, bolt on the local taxes for India and sell you these wireless earbuds at whatever it all totaled up to. Globally, the Nothing ear (1) wireless earbuds are priced at £99, $99 and €99. We must complement Nothing for this rational look at pricing in India—a direct conversion from the S99 price point would have meant a price tag of around Rs 7,300 before taxes etc. would have been added on.

The Nothing ear (1) wireless earbuds are priced at Rs 5,999. The pricing will not be a direct conversion of the £99, $99 and €99 global price points, which makes these more affordable in India as against a direct currency conversion.

The price tag for the Nothing ear (1) wireless earbuds in India is Rs 5,999 and these will be a Flipkart exclusive for the time being, going on sale August 17.

New Redmi note 10T *5G | First 5G phone in Redmi

When you think of Redmi smartphones, you expect them to pack in every feature under the sun, at affordable prices. So far, Xiaomi has done a good job of this with the Redmi Note 10 series, offering immense value compared to the competition. With 5G still in the testing phase in India, it isn't clear when next-generation networks will go live, so there is a bit of uncertainty when it comes to investing in a 5G smartphone, especially in the budget segment since cutbacks have to be made in other areas.

Samsung 65 watt PD fast charger leaks...

This Samsung 65W charger (EP-TA865) was certified by the Korean authorities back in September, but this is the first time we see in a photo. It supports USB Power Delivery at up to 20V and 3.25A, including Programmable Power Supply (PPS).

It’s powerful enough to be used with laptops as well, provided they can be charged through their USB-C ports. But it’s probably too overpowered for the Galaxy S21 flagships that will be unveiled this Thursday – the S21 Ultra is rumored to support 45W charging, the highest Samsung has gone yet (using the EP-TA845 adapter).

Futuristic news | We can harvest "Electricity"! | just "Tap"

A new wearable device turns the touch of a finger into a source of power for small electronics and sensors. Engineers at the University of California San Diego developed a thin, flexible strip that can be worn on a fingertip and generate small amounts of electricity when a person’s finger sweats or presses on it.

This type of device is the first of its kind, said co-first author Lu Yin, a nanoengineering Ph.D. student at the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering. “Unlike other sweat-powered wearables, this one requires no exercise, no physical input from the wearer in order to be useful.

This work is a step forward to making wearables more practical, convenient and accessible for the everyday person.”The new wearable energy harvester is described in a paper published July 13 in Joule.
The device also generates extra power from light finger presses—so activities such as typing, texting, playing the piano or tapping in Morse code can also become sources of energy.

“We envision that this can be used in any daily activity involving touch, things that a person

would normally do anyway while at work, at home, while watching TV or eating,” said Joseph Wang, a professor of nanoengineering at the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering and the study’s senior author. “The goal is that this wearable will naturally work for you and you don’t even have to think about it.”
The device derives most of its power from sweat produced by the fingertips, which are 24-hour factories of perspiration. It’s a little-known fact that the fingertips are one of the sweatiest spots on the body; each one is packed with over a thousand sweat glands and can produce between 100 to 1000 times more sweat than most other areas on the body.

“The reason we feel sweatier on other parts of the body is because those spots are not well ventilated,” said Yin. “By contrast, the fingertips are always exposed to air, so the sweat evaporates as it comes out. So rather than letting it evaporate, we use our device to collect this sweat, and it can generate a significant amount of energy.”
But not just any sweat-fueled device can work on the fingertip. Collecting sweat from such a small area and making it useful required some innovative materials engineering, explained Yin. The researchers had to build different parts of the device to be super absorbent and efficient at converting the chemicals in human sweat into electrical energy.

Yin worked on this project with UC San Diego nanoengineering Ph.D. students Jong-Min Moon and Juliane Sempionatto, who are the study’s other co-first authors, as part of a team led by Wang, who is also the director of the Center for Wearable Sensors at UC San Diego. Wang and his team pioneered sweat-fueled wearables 8 years ago. Since then, they have been building on the technology to create new and better ways to power wearables using sustainable sources, such as the wearers themselves and their surroundings.

This latest energy harvesting technology is especially unique in that it could serve as a power source anytime, anywhere. It does not have the same limitations as, say, solar cells, which only work under sunlight, or thermoelectric generators, which only work when there’s a large temperature difference between the device and the surroundings.

Twitter hiring is open for India | With India's new IT rules

Twitter Inc's India unit has posted job openings for three new roles and will try to make an offer of employment to resident Indians, as asked by rules, within 8 weeks. It will try to appoint a nodal contact person's job on an interim basis within 2 weeks, the company told the Delhi High Court on Thursday.

witter Inc's India unit has appointed an interim chief compliance officer and will soon designate other executives to meet the country's new IT rules, the social media giant said in court on Thursday, amid tensions with the government.

The IT rules, which became effective end-May, are aimed at regulating content on social media and making firms act more swiftly on legal requests to remove posts and sharing details on the originators of messages. They also require the appointment of certain new executives.

The rules were introduced amid growing conflict between the government and the US social media firm which ratcheted up during the pandemic. The spat between Twitter and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government began earlier this year when the microblogging giant was ordered to remove a controversial hashtag related to farmer protests against new agricultural reforms.

"While Twitter is striving to comply with the 2021 Rules, Twitter reserves its right to challenge the legality, validity... of the Rules," Twitter said in the filing.
